The promotors of the first challenge are the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Securité par Collaboration (SPC++) project. This challenge investigates areas in the Sahel region, an African zone from the east to west the coast, located beneath the Sahara (appx. 15°N).
The aim of this challenge is to explore the possibilities to implement semi-automated border surveillance by detecting potential areas favoring smuggling activities. Learn more about the challenge.
The promotor of this challenge is INGV - Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia. INGV is an Italian research institute for geophysical and volcanological studies.
Surface Temperature Map Processor (STEMP) offers the possibility to estimate the surface temperature and to generate a delineation map of the detected hotspot. STEMP can, for example, detect lava flows and hotspots and use this data for creating a hot spot/lava flow map during a volcanic eruption. Learn more about this challenge.
