In the third Geohazards challenge BETTER enables final users as well as non-expert users to access high-level EO data after a relevant seismic event without great effort. This approach is extremely valuable because it avoids the final user to deal with the download, processing, and analysis of an increasing amount of data. We aim to implement a service that automatically maps co-seismic deformation and interferometric coherence changes due to relevant earthquakes. We consider an earthquake as relevant if it has a Magnitude larger than M5, which means a medium-intensity earthquake upwards by leveraging on SAR-images acquired by satellites (ESA Sentinel-1). The data pipeline is triggered by a new occurrence of an earthquake detected by the seismic stations installed on the ground. The data are available within 12 hours after the seismic event and span the period before and across the event.
