Systematic modeling of surface deformation at active volcanoes

6th GeoHazards Challenge (GH6)


Challenge Description

Surface displacement retrieved with radar interferometry at active volcanoes is used to constrain the causative volume changes occurring in the subsurface. DLR monitors systematically with high-resolution Sentinel-1 SAR products a number of target volcanoes worldwide. The aim of this challenge is to implement a pipeline where ETHZ routines to model surface deformation at volcanoes are used systematically to provide an interpretation of  DInSAR results.



The results below are divided into Software Repositories, Data Processing Pipeline Services and Data Product Repositories.  In case you would like to get in touch about specific results, please use the indicated reference code.


Software Repositories

There are currently X Software repositories in the area of Systematic modeling of surface deformation at active volcanoes. All of them available on request. GitLab contains the data. There is a Trigger App & coordinator, ready for the production via Terradue Ops or via Ellip notebooks workspace for 'any' Scaler user. There is no dedicated Infohub App available yet for Scaler users. Initial results from validation tests are available on the Data Store.
